Beyond 5G Wireless Communication Technologies

The fifth generation (5G) wireless systems have been begun to be widely deployed over the world in recent years. As 5G technology will not able meet demands of huge data traffic growth from massively interconnected devices that is forecasted for future years, attention research community shifting toward what next innovations communication architectures and technologies beyond 5G. topic has gained much momentum industry very recently. In this issue IEEE Wireless Communications, we are pleased present two Special Issues bring together researchers, practitioners, individuals working on related areas address some these technical challenges technologies. Issue “6G: Paradigm Future Communications” includes a collection nine articles presented by Guest Editors S. Mumtaz, C. Jiang, A. Tölli, Al-Dulaimi, M. Butt, H. Asif, I. Ashraf; other Issue, “Smart, Optimal, Explainable Orchestration Network Slices Beyond Networks,” five Z. Fadlullah, Fouda, K. Rabie, R. Li.
